Grand Designs: In 2005, A banker and his wife, after living away from home for 17 years, decide to return to Newport and finding that an 18th century folly, 800ft above Newport, was for sale - they jumped at the chance to buy it. The building, with its stunning views onto nine counties, was originally built in the mid 1700s as a hunting lodge.
