NOT A SLAVE is based on a true story of how a 20th-century African Prince resorts to slavery in order to cultivate his plantation for profit. The slaves suffer cruel handling by the overseer’s hand, whose own destiny rests on the survival of his Prince’s long-awaited newborn heir.
