Finnish Doctor Felix Kersten, a student of Tibetan medicine, became a favorite healer among the rich and famous in Germany during the 1930s. Married to a German woman, he settled in an estate outside of Berlin. Heinrich Himmler, head of the SS under Hitler, sought out Dr. Kersten to treat him for ongoing painful stomach cramps.
