The film stars Eri Fukatsu as Emi, a third-rate defense lawyer with zero prospects. One day, she?s assigned an unusual case by her boss (Hiroshi Abe). A man is accused of murdering his wealthy wife (Yuko Takeuchi), but he has a bizarre alibi. He claims he was staying at an inn at the time of the murder and suffering from ?kanashibari?
